Thanks to your incredible support, we didn’t just meet our £10,000 goal—we unlocked brighter futures for young people facing huge challenges in Uganda and Sierra Leone.

Our campaign focused on unlocking the potential of vulnerable young people in Uganda and Sierra Leone. We worked with youth living in poverty, equipping them with vital livelihood skills and boosting their confidence to participate in community decisions, ensuring their voices are heard.

The challenges were significant: In Ugandan rural areas, nearly 38% of young people were out of work or training, while in Sierra Leone, youth unemployment reached 70%. Many were trapped in poverty with little opportunity.

Our solution—providing education, vocational training, and leadership development—has delivered powerful results. When young people gain economic independence, they are empowered to take control of their lives and influence the decisions that affect their communities.
